Terms
Terms of use
The agreement between you and PackAjo when you save in a circle. Please read it: a circle only works when everyone keeps their side.

The agreement
These terms are between you and Maverick Lab Holdings, which runs PackAjo. By creating an account you accept them and our privacy policy. Each circle also shows its own terms (amount, dates, fee and payout order) before you join; joining means you accept those too.
Who can use PackAjo
- You are 18 or older and live in Nigeria.
- You use your own Nigerian bank account and BVN, and your details are true.
- You keep one account, and keep your PIN and sign-in codes to yourself.
You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at once at support@usepackajo.com if you think someone else has used it.
How circles work
- Every member pays the same contribution on each of the circle’s dates, and each round one member receives the whole pot.
- Your turn is fixed when the circle starts, by a draw any member can check or by the order the circle’s lead set and you accepted.
- A round pays out only when every contribution in it has been collected. We never use your money to cover someone else’s.
- PackAjo is not a bank and doesn’t pay interest. Money is collected and paid out through Paystack, our licensed payment processor.
Debits and payouts
When you join a circle you authorise a direct debit on your bank’s own page, through Paystack. You agree that we debit your contribution plus the circle fee on each of the circle’s dates, from your main account and, if that fails, your backup account. We remind you before every debit and send a receipt after it. Payouts go to your verified bank account in your own name.
Fees
Each contribution carries a circle fee, shown before you join: 10% of the contribution unless the app shows otherwise. It is added on top, so the pot is always the full amount. Part goes to the member who leads the circle (5% by default) and the rest to PackAjo. A circle keeps the fee it started with.
Missed contributions
If a debit fails we retry over the following days and tell you. If you still don’t pay, the circle can be suspended and, if it can’t continue, ended. When a circle ends early we work out what each member paid in and received: we refund anyone who paid in more, and anyone who received more than they paid owes the difference, which we may recover by lawful means. Missed contributions can affect whether you may join circles in future.
Circle leads
The member who starts a circle leads it: they approve who joins, may set the payout order, and earn their share of the circle fee. Leads may withdraw earnings to their own verified account once the minimum shown in the app is reached. Leads don’t hold anyone’s money and must not ask members for payments outside PackAjo.
Community and conduct
In chats and the Community, don’t:
- harass, threaten, scam or impersonate anyone;
- ask anyone to pay outside PackAjo, or advertise other schemes;
- post anything illegal, hateful or sexual, or anyone’s private details.
You can report posts and block people. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
Leaving and closing accounts
You can delete your account once you aren’t in a circle that is still running and nothing is owed either way. We may suspend or close an account for fraud, false details, breaking these terms, or when the law requires it; money you are owed is still paid to you.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep PackAjo running and your money moving on time, but banks, Paystack and networks can fail or delay. We aren’t responsible for delays caused by them, or for losses caused by another member, except where the law says otherwise. Nothing here limits rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law.
Changes, disputes and law
We tell you in the app before changes to these terms affect you; continuing to use PackAjo after that means you accept them. If something goes wrong, contact support@usepackajo.com first and we will try to resolve it. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
